
It’s extremely rare but every now and then, I step in and actually cook dinner. Earlier tonight, I volunteered to cook dinner on Thursdays to give him at least a day break from cooking. I know that cooking takes a lot of time and dedication, and with Patrick’s graveyard hours and job responsibilities, it makes it tough for him to unwind and relax when he spends all his off-time grocery shopping and cooking.
So tonight, I made some delicious Filipino Style Spaghetti for dinner. Patrick and I live in Daly City, a city occupied by around 35%-40% or so Filipinos, so we have access to some of the best Filipino foods around the area. In addition to that, I have a lot of Filipino friends who have invited me to many of their huge Filipino parties, so I’d consider myself pretty familiar with their dishes and flavors.
Filipino Style Spaghetti has a very unique taste from other pastas. It can be best described as a sweet thickened tomato sauce with ground beef and hotdogs.
